Maureen Ford, hailing from Boston, MA, is a notable leader in the music industry with over three decades of experience. Currently residing in New York City, she thrives in its vibrant atmosphere, reflecting her passion for culture and innovation. 

With a rich background in concert promotion and sales, Maureen leads Live Nation Media & Sponsorship’s National Sales team, driving growth and forging creative partnerships with global brands like Anheuser Busch, Citi, and Hilton Worldwide. Her expertise extends across Live Nation’s vast media properties, network of venues, and diverse festival portfolio. 

Recognized as a trailblazer, Maureen has been featured in Billboard Magazine’s Branding Power Players and Women in Music: Most Powerful Executives. Her commitment to empowering the next generation of music industry professionals led her to support us at Music Forward. Inspired by the transformative power of music, she champions our mission to provide opportunities for young people to pursue their passion and potential in the industry. 

Roberto Alejandro Fierro, originally from San Diego, CA, began his career in public service at the San Diego County’s Auditor and Controller Department while still an undergraduate at the University of San Diego. He later obtained an M.A. from the Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and held significant roles in Washington, D.C., including positions at ACG Advocacy and The Software Alliance. He also worked as a teacher and academic advisor and founded the Institute for Student Health. 

Roberto has been actively involved in volunteer work, serving as a General Board Member for the Hispanic Lobbyists Association and as Executive Board Programs Coordinator for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Alumni Association. His diverse professional and volunteer experiences reflect his commitment to community service and education. 

Supporting us at Music Forward is incredibly motivating for Roberto because we provide youth, especially from underserved communities, with exposure to and opportunities in the music industry. 

Johnel Evans, Global Vice President of DEI at Live Nation, is a trusted adviser and change agent for executive leadership, specializing in organizational effectiveness strategies. With extensive experience across industries such as medical devices, manufacturing, aerospace, consumer packaged goods, and financial services, Johnel excels in coaching and influencing senior leaders. 

Known for a results-driven and consultative approach, Johnel develops human capital plans and addresses talent development needs, supporting business goals and enhancing the employee experience in complex organizations. Through strategic insights and best practices, Johnel drives impactful business decisions and fosters sustainable growth.
