Laurel Stearns is a music industry veteran, spending her time between labels and management as well as recording studios, currently working as a partner with Primary Wave on the management side (current and past clients: Father John Misty, Red Fang, U.S. Girls, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, The Album Leaf) but also working in creative with publishing clients such as Devo, Bing Crosby, Leon Russell, and others under the Primary Wave publishing roster. Spent 10 years at Capitol Records doing A&R (LCD Soundsystem, Interpol, The Decemberists, Fischerspooner, Shout Out Louds), 4 years at Redlight Mgmt (The Decemberists, Chris Cornell, White Denim), 2 years at The Firm, 8 years as an independent manager (GWAR, Descendents, ALL, Dirty Dozen Brass Band)
