How it Works

4-5 artists perform live on Twitch and receive feedback and advice from professionals in the industry
During the show, fans vote in the chat for their favorite who is announced at the end of the show, the “Fan Favorite“
After the show, that week’s experts decide on their favorite performer of the night which is announced on Music Forward socials the following week, the “Industry Pick“
At the end of the season, the Fan Favorites and Industry Picks of that season return for two final showcases where they perform one last time in hopes of earning the title “Season Fan Favorite” and “Season Industry Pick“

All performers must be ages 13-24 to be eligible
Artists are selected by the Music Forward team (application doesn’t guarantee a spot)
Artists will be provided marketing materials and are expected to practice activating their audiences around the show
Prior to the show, artists will meet with an industry professional for performance coaching
Artists are expected to arrive 1 hour prior to showtime for soundcheck
Artists perform one 3-5 minute song and receive real-time feedback from industry professionals

Artists are provided access to Music Forward’s artist development resources including the opportunity to attend tailored workshops.
