Culture Comeback Week – Dedicated to Unity in Diversity

Culture Comeback Week is a nationwide initiative dedicated to highlighting House of Blues’ commitment to supporting communities across the country for 25 years through House of Blues Music Forward Foundation. Formerly International House of Blues Foundation, Music Forward was formed in 1993 by the founders of the House of Blues. They envisioned a charitable arm to the venue that would bring the arts to schools and communities through programs that promoted cultural understanding, encouraged creative expression, and manifested their core beliefs of Unity In Diversity and Help Ever, Hurt Never. Culture Comeback Week is dedicated to affirming the House of Blues commitment to these core beliefs.

Each House of Blues venue across the United States celebrated in its own way. From team rallies and Music Forward alumni performances to memorabilia auctions and transforming skylines, communities nationwide joined the Music Forward movement.

“Music moves me to help ever, hurt never. Music inspires me. Music makes me appreciate the commonality of the human experience. One of our phrases at House of Blues was Unity in Diversity, it binds people, it collects people, and it is an universal language. People dance to the same language all over the world and I think that idea that we’re more connected than we realize, I think music is a great bridge to that.” – Michael Grozier, Live Nation Clubs and Theaters EVP + Founding Board Member of Music Forward
